Mrs Helen Higgs, now deceased,was the office manager for the club and helped plan the activities for the group from the National Cartoonists Society.The activities included a full day of golf, along with a banquet reseption afterward. These drawings were apparently done for Mrs. Higgs in appreciation for the hospitality shown to the group. The drawings appear to be on regular sketch pad paper, with the exeption of those done on paper from the "National Cartoonists Society" It does not happened very often to bring together a bunch of great cartoonists, and have them draw their famous cartoon characters.This happened here: Tree members - Stan Drake, Jack Tippit and John Prentice said "Thank you" for the good time they have had with original sketches .Now, you have the very rare opportunity to own this originals.
